DISCOVERY TICKETS for £1.90 all day travel on subway in Glasgow. Tickets must be purchased after 0930.
SCOTTISH YOUTH HOSTEL ASSOCIATION produce excellent guide of accommodation options. The Inverness Hostel is apparently lovely. I can recommend the UIG hostel and Armadale hostels on the Isle of Skye!
The BLUE HOSTEL Guide is a listing of independently run hostels. www.hostel-scotland.co.uk. When the Scottish Youth Hostels were booked out, this guide was a great back up.
BOOK BEDS AHEAD! in summer months, it is very wise to book your accommodation at least a few days ahead...saves stress on arrival during your holiday!
