"Give me my Scallop Shell of Quiet
My staff of faith to walk upon
My scrip of joy, immortal diet
My bottle of salvation
My gown of Glory, Hope“s true gauge
And thus I take my Pilgrimage"
Sir Walter Raleigh 1552-1618
On this wonderful journey over the last 37 days walking 854kms from St Jean Pied a Port to Fisterre in Spain .... I feel I have been truly blessed.
Watching the sunrise in the mornings, experiencing the beauty of the landscape as each day unfolds, enjoying the silence, I have learnt many things and met wonderful people from all around the world.
